LOOKING TO THE WEEKEND

Don't forget that Thursday night is Art Walk. You can see everything that is going on in a previous post. Just scroll down and you should find it. For those who love classic movies, plan on being at the Paramount Theater this weekend.

Fri. 15 - PARAMOUNT CLASSIC FILM - 7:30 pm. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. This rowdy film, set in the Old West, centers around seven hard-working brothers who decide they need wives and carry off young women from the local village. One of MGM's most spirited and popular musicals, it perfectly integrates song, dance and story. Howard Keel stars as the head of the clan of brothers and Jane Powell co-stars as the wife who teaches him a lesson about love. Michael Kidd's energetic dance numbers are knockouts, especially the rousing barn-raising sequence. The Paramount Film Series ticket prices are $5 for adults and $4 for students, seniors, military and children.
